The 84-year-old actor was present at the premiere of Cirque du Soleil's Corteo, accompanied by his wife, Gill Hinchcliffe, and their daughter, Sophie.
The actor who portrayed Del Boy Trotter made his first public appearance since the announcement, appearing cheerful as he walked the red carpet.
He looked quite dapper in a grey trench coat and flat cap, complemented by a burgundy knitted sweater and coordinating trousers.
His wife Gill captured attention in eye-catching black and white patterned pants paired with a satin top, while their daughter wowed in a dress adorned with a butterfly design.
The family was in the company of many other famous faces at the event, such as Nicola Roberts, Georgia Toffolo, and Myleene Klass, all of whom added a touch of glamour to the red carpet.

Diane Langton's agent has confirmed that she passed away on Wednesday morning after a brief illness.
The actress, whose career lasted over sixty years, had made her third return to Hollyoaks shortly before she passed away.
Langton gained recognition among Only Fools and Horses enthusiasts for portraying June Snell, the romantic interest of Del Boy. She featured in two episodes that aired in 1985 and 1986.
Her representative stated: "Diane enjoyed a vibrant and distinguished career, showcasing her talents on stage, in movies, and on television, most notably as the beloved Nana McQueen in Hollyoaks, a role she has portrayed since 2007."

The performer, hailing from Somerset, initially started her journey in the arts as a dancer. She later shifted her focus to acting, marking her film debut in the 1959 classic Carry On Teacher.
Although Jason had a great experience on the red carpet, he recently shared some personal health struggles that may have stemmed from his recent surgery to install a new titanium hip.
Although he has experienced significant leg pain in recent months, he expressed gratitude that these procedures are even available.
He shared with Woman's Weekly: "Wow, aren't we fortunate to have this option? If we weren't in an era where such procedures are commonplace, you could be left with a disability."
