It seems that when I came out of anesthesia, I was quite chatty… I don’t remember much, but I do recall a male voice gently yet firmly asking me to ‘please stop talking.’ I was attempting to let them know that I was ‘awake’ and to hold off on the breathing tube, haha, but it seems they had already wrapped things up.” Sheinelle felt emotionally exhausted after her surgery, and she shared her experience in a heartfelt post: “Once I found myself alone in post-recovery…I began to cry behind my oxygen mask. The nurse quickly approached and handed me a pen to write down what was troubling me. Truthfully, there was nothing wrong. I think it was simply a release…this has been a long journey, and I’ve faced ups and downs for a long time.
