Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been a couple for several years now. She expressed that this period has brought her some of the greatest joy in her life.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been together for years. The couple met as coaches on The Voice and began dating as they both went through divorces. In a speech praising her husband, Stefani said he was the embodiment of many different dreams, including her own.
Gwen Stefani shared her thoughts on her romance with Blake Shelton.
In 2023, Shelton was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During the ceremony, Stefani delivered a heartfelt speech celebrating her husband. She referred to him as a “unique individual” who has “consistently remained authentic to himself.”
“He’s humble, he’s genuine, and trust me, wherever we go everybody feels like they know Blake Shelton,” she said, per People. “Blake, you are a rare human being. The reason Blake Shelton is here today on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is because you are part of the country dream, the Hollywood dream and you are part of the American Dream.”

She mentioned that he is also included in her dreams.
“And everyone knows that you are the realization of my dreams,” she declared. “I love you deeply.”
Gwen Stefani expressed her relief upon discovering that Blake Shelton was also experiencing a divorce.
Stefani and Shelton were navigating their divorces simultaneously. She preferred to keep her split from Gavin Rossdale under wraps from her coworkers.
“It was the beginning of hell,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Like six, seven, eight months of torture, trying to figure out this big secret.”
Shelton, by contrast, announced his divorce from Miranda Lambert to the other Voice coaches.
"Picture this: I was holding onto my huge secret," she recounted. "That’s when Blake stepped up and announced, ‘Hey everyone, before we head out, I just want to make it clear that by the time this episode is broadcast, I’ll be officially divorced.’"
She was grateful to have another person who understood what she was going through. After his announcement, she asked to speak with him privately and admitted she was going through something similar.
“I felt a bit vulnerable, if I’m honest,” she remarked. “But it felt like receiving a precious gift in the form of a friend who was experiencing the very same situation simultaneously.”
Stefani expressed that her relationship with Shelton transformed her life entirely. She found herself feeling a renewed sense of hope.
“And then it felt as if everything turned around,” she expressed. “It shifted from being terrible to surprisingly hopeful, like, ‘Wow, God, you really can’t predict what’s coming next.’”
He mentioned that tying the knot with her was a significant milestone in his life.
Shelton has also said that getting to know Stefani helped him through his divorce. At his Walk of Fame ceremony, he said that marrying her was one of the greatest accomplishments of his life.

“I pretty much stopped keeping track of my achievements after I married Gwen, so this feels like just the cherry on top,” he remarked. “I love you dearly, and that’s the most wonderful thing that’s come out of this journey.”
