A wood-fired pizza food truck is set to become a lasting addition at Fenceline in Mancos.

(Photo by Monica Marty) Sweetwater Gypsies is replacing Fencepost. Fenceline Cider in Mancos is set to reopen on Friday, January 10 at 11:30 a.m. after a 10-day closure. The reopening will feature a new addition outside: a wood-fired pizza food truck named Sweetwater Gypsies. "We're going to miss the Fencepost, but our excitement for Sweetwater Gypsies is through the roof," expressed Jordan Lang, who has been managing Fenceline since 2021. The cidery shared the news on Facebook, stating that it would be closing the Fencepost on December 30, expressing their feelings as "mixed emotions." “We are incredibly grateful for your support throughout the years,” the message read in the online post dated December 23. Nonetheless, Lang stated, "the objective was never to operate a restaurant." "We ultimately went through with it and found it enjoyable," Lang remarked. "However, we decided to step back from managing a restaurant, as our primary focus is on cider production." Thus, they made the choice to go ahead with their plan, allowing another party to handle the food aspect. That "another party" has traditionally been food trucks. A few years back, the local food truck scene was thriving. There were so many options available that Fenceline could feature a different food truck for its customers to savor every night of the week, according to Lang. However, that supply began to decrease. Certain food trucks established their own physical restaurants, while others opted for a catering approach. A few even decided to sell their trucks completely. This need for food is what led Fenceline to acquire the Fencepost in November 2022, as Lang explained. However, operating a restaurant was never part of the plan, so it was the perfect moment to extend an opportunity to Sweetwater Gypsies at Fenceline, according to Lang. Additionally, Lang mentioned that the wood-fired food truck had previously operated at the cidery, establishing a "wonderful, enduring partnership" between them. On January 3, the cidery took to Facebook to share the exciting news, announcing that Sweetwater Gypsies will be joining them as a permanent addition to Fenceline Cider. Monica Marty, the owner of Sweetwater Gypsies, stated that the new food truck will focus on its specialty of wood-fired pies for now, with plans to eventually broaden the menu and introduce salads once they have established themselves more firmly. She mentioned that they intend to incorporate many local products into their offerings, and the menu will adapt based on the seasonal availability of ingredients. Marty expressed her enthusiasm for the opportunity to "acquire a new skill set in managing a regular business, in contrast to the concession-style operations." Just a year ago, Sweetwater Gypsies acquired its very first enclosed trailer featuring a wood-fired oven. For the previous 14 years, the business had been functioning with a mobile oven set up beneath a pop-up canopy, according to Marty. Marty expressed his enthusiasm by stating, "I'm thrilled to operate a business that contributes positively to the community." Fenceline and Sweetwater Gypsies will be “combining their operating hours,” resulting in some adjustments to the cidery's schedule, according to Lang. Importantly, both establishments will now serve lunch on select weekdays: Monday, Thursday, and Friday. They will remain closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and will open at 2 p.m. during the weekends. View pictures in App save up to 80% data. Fenceline Cider has updated its hours of operation. Zomato has introduced a new 15-minute food delivery service, going head-to-head with Swiggy's Bolt and other rapid delivery competitors such as Ola Dash and Zepto. This service offers a variety of ready-to-eat meals from a curated selection of restaurants. View pictures in App save up to 80% data. As the rapid food delivery market gains momentum, Zomato is eager to join the competition. The company has introduced a 15-minute food delivery service to rival Swiggy's Bolt feature. Company Value Change %Change Although Zomato hasn't made an official announcement regarding the service, it is currently active on the Zomato app. A new "15-minute delivery" option has been introduced in the explore section of the Zomato app. Similar to Swiggy's Bolt, this feature showcases a selection of quick-preparation and ready-to-eat meals from partnered restaurants. However, in contrast to Bolt's well-known 10-minute delivery commitment, Zomato promises a 15-minute timeframe for delivery. According to the restaurants featured on the app, Zomato is also delivering from establishments located within a 2-kilometer distance. Zomato's entry into the 15-minute delivery market arrives at a moment when the rapid food delivery sector is gaining momentum, emerging as the latest battleground in the realm of fast commerce. This development follows the launch of 'Bistro' by Zomato's rapid delivery service, Blinkit. Although Bistro is not yet operational, its website promises to offer 'healthy juices, snacks, and meals' delivered within minutes. In October, Swiggy introduced Bolt and mentioned in its Q2 earnings report that 5% of its total delivery orders were already being fulfilled through Bolt. Ola has introduced a rapid food delivery service named Ola Dash in Bengaluru, aimed at delivering meals in just 10 minutes. The company is currently working on expanding this service across the country. Zepto also introduced a dedicated app for Zepto Cafe, citing significant demand that justifies the need for a separate platform.

Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images While Savannah Guthrie was sad to say goodbye to Hoda Kotb on Today, she was happy to throw away some of the items her former coanchor left behind. “It’s a new era, it’s the Craig [Melvin] era, and we go and we sit on the set and there are these trays,” Guthrie, 53, explained in a joint interview with Melvin, 45, on the Wednesday, January 15, episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “It might have a mint or whatever it is. We realized that all of the trays, they were all Hoda’s stuff and it was, like, one contact and expired bean dip and belly button lint and all this stuff.” Choosing to declutter the Today set, Guthrie sent Kotb, 60, a hilarious video of herself throwing out Kotb’s collection of belongings. “Oh, hey girl. Guess you didn’t want any of this s—,” Guthrie quipped in the clip, which host Jimmy Fallon showed on-air. “Don’t mind me,” Guthrie added before dumping Kotb’s tray items into the garbage. “Love you.” Following the clip, Guthrie remarked on the appearance of the tray, noting that it seemed unclean. "It had, like, rusty barnacles growing on it," she quipped. "Honestly, it was revolting." Fallon, 50, reminisced about a time when she was taken aback by the condition of Kotb’s handbag, commenting, “It resembles a binder filled with documents. It reminded me of my father's old wallet.” Guthrie couldn't resist teasing Kotb about her quirky choice of accessories, mentioning how she occasionally prefers a plastic bag instead of a traditional purse at red carpet events. "You know, the clear Ziploc bag often has a banana and a tampon inside," she revealed with a laugh. View pictures in App save up to 80% data. The Tonight Show/YouTube Channel Kotb ended her run as Guthrie’s Today coanchor and Jenna Bush Hager’s fourth hour of Today cohost on Friday, January 10. Fallon was one of several celebrities who stopped by the show to celebrate her final day. As a farewell gift, Fallon gave Kotb a framed piece of the NBC peacock logo carpet from the elevators in 30 Rock. “I entitled [sic] it ‘Onward and Upward’ ‘cause you’re getting on the elevator and going up, right?” he said on Friday’s episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna. “But then I signed it, and then no one can read my writing. My handwriting’s so bad so it looks like it says ‘Osmond and Uptown.’” View pictures in App save up to 80% data. You’re my person, you’re my person. You know who shows up for everybody? This girl. … She’s in the room, she’s always in the room, and I love you,” she gushed on air. “Craig, I’m so happy for you. You’ve earned this, you own this, and come Monday at 7 o’clock a.m., I am gonna be dead asleep. But you’re gonna be fantastic. You’re gonna bring it home. Craig, you’re gonna be so good. You and Savannah are gonna be magic.” View pictures in App save up to 80% data. Craig Melvin, Savannah Guthrie, and Hoda Kotb. In response to Kotb's remarks, Guthrie shared with Fallon on Wednesday that Kotb "rose earlier than I did on Monday." She continued, "Hoda starts her day at 3 a.m. on Saturdays. But she’s doing well. We keep in touch with her via FaceTime." While Kotb announced she has a wellness app and company in the works, she has been enjoying her first week away from Today by taking her daughters, Haley, 8, and Hope, 5, to school. “Another regular … ordinary … spectacular day xo,” she captioned pics of herself and her girls, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman, walking down her driveway via Instagram on Thursday, January 16.

While the Western neo-drama series is highly celebrated for its top-notch storyline and action-packed performances, it has also sparked its fair share of controversy. One notable moment came when a fan-favorite character’s political views became a hot-button issue for many fans. View pictures in App save up to 80% data. Forrie J Smith captured in a scene from 'Yellowstone' (Image Credit: Paramount Network) The actor in question is Forrie J Smith, who played the role of the oldest rancher, Lloyd Pierce, in 'Yellowstone'. While his character was beloved by fans, Smith’s real-life reputation hasn’t been as well received. In recent years, he’s faced his share of controversies, making him one of the most talked-about actors from the show. In March 2024, Smith took to Instagram to vent his frustration after being removed from a flight in Houston. According to Click2Houston, the incident occurred when he refused to sit next to a passenger wearing a mask. In a video posted soon after, the 65-year-old actor expressed his disbelief and irritation, saying, "I just got kicked off a plane, and, uh, where the hell am I at?" Smith elaborated that the flight crew claimed he was intoxicated, a charge he strongly refuted. "I'm not drunk, yet they remove me from the plane under the assumption that I am, all because no one has the guts to speak up about this nonsense," he stated. In the same video, Smith conceded that he had consumed alcohol but explained that it was a result of the lengthy wait he experienced at the airport. "I've been stuck in an airport for three hours. Of course, I'm drinking," he confessed. Nevertheless, he insisted that his actions were not improper and attributed the situation to the airline’s policies and choices. This isn’t the first time Smith’s controversial stance has made headlines. He also chose not to attend the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, citing his refusal to follow Covid-related rules. Smith explained his decision in a video posted on Instagram, as reported by Variety. The real-life rodeo explained that his refusal to get vaccinated is the primary factor behind his absence and said, "I want to apologize to y’all for not being at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. I mean no offence to anyone. I'm not vaccinated, and it's a requirement to be vaccinated." Smith solidified his viewpoint by stating, "I’m not vaccinated, and I refuse to get vaccinated," highlighting his consistent beliefs on the matter. He elaborated on his anti-vaccination stance, mentioning, "I haven’t received any vaccinations since childhood. I don’t vaccinate my dogs or my horses. I’ve never taken a flu shot, and I never intend to." He clarified his perspective, saying, "I think they weaken your immune system. These are just my beliefs. I simply don’t subscribe to that idea. Whatever." While he maintained that he meant no disrespect to anyone, his remarks continue to generate debate among the public.
